What are climate-controlled storage units? 

Climate-controlled storage units offer an extra layer of confidence for belongings that are sensitive to extreme temperatures. No matter the season, climate-controlled storage units provide a stable storage environment to shield your stored items from extreme heat and cold. 

Without climate control, sensitive belongings like vinyl records, wooden furniture, and electronics can experience temperature-related damage like warping, cracking, melting, and more.

Can I change my storage unit if I want more or less space?

If you find you have different space needs at the end of the month, you can seamlessly switch up your unit size based on availability. What do I do if I lose the key to my storage unit?

If you lose the key to your storage unit, you’ll first need to inform our team so they can work with you on a solution. Misplacing a key may result in involving a third-party locksmith service.

How do I pay for my storage unit?

You can pay for your unit in person or using the facility’s online payment system. We offer autopay so you don’t have to worry about typing in your card information all the time. Major credit cards that we accept as payment include:

How do I manage my storage unit’s lease?

Hello Space+ offers month-to-month leases that you can adjust at any time if you choose to change units. Once you rent a unit with one of our facilities, you can log onto the facility website with your designated password to manage your lease agreement. Moving Into Your Storage 

Do you offer moving services?

While our facilities do not provide moving services, Hello Space+ has great recommendations for moving companies in your area. We are known for our customer service! Just talk to one of our on-site team members for more information.

Do you sell boxes and moving supplies?

Save yourself the time and money that comes with an expensive trip to the home store. We got what you need! Many of our storage facilities have all the necessary moving supplies in-house and at affordable prices.

What are some packing tips before moving my things into storage?

You can never be too prepared for self storage! One of our favorite packing tips is creating an inventory of everything you plan to store in your unit. From grouping items by category or writing them down alphabetically and labeling the boxes you pack them in, an inventory list helps you organize your storage unit.

We also recommend buying a variety of moving box sizes and plenty of packing tape–you don’t want to run out of moving supplies. You should also grab packing paper, Bubble Wrap, and furniture covers as needed to safeguard your belongings.
